Sputnik 1 left the atmosphere on October 4th and changed every calendar that followed. Elvis sang Jailhouse Rock. The Treaty of Rome was signed in March and Europe began to imagine itself as one.

This is a watch from that exact crossing. Cream textured dial, Arabic numerals at twelve, three, six and nine in the way only mid-century pieces wore them. Polished case, leather strap, the honest weight of an instrument made before instruments started to be replaced.

The most vintage-feeling watch in the catalogue, and the one with the most space in its silence.
