November 22nd, Dallas. Three months earlier, Martin Luther King Jr. stood at the Lincoln Memorial and told the world about a dream. Doctor Who first aired on the BBC the day after the assassination. The same year, Heuer launched the Carrera, and the chronograph became the symbol of a man who measured his life in seconds.

This is a chronograph from exactly that year. Multiple sub-dials, a small globe at twelve, baton markers in rose gold. Designed to be read while glancing down at the wheel.
